Owner/ Chief Instructor
I've been practicing martial arts for over 18 years and I've yet to stop loving it! I've earned first degree black belts in Tae Kwon Do and Judo, and a third degree black belt in the art of Tang Soo Do. When I was in high school I decided I wanted to be the world's best fighter and what a journey that has been! I've traveled to Thailand and Japan to train and compete, and I've also competed all over the United States. Needless to say I haven't quite earned the title (World's Best Fighter) I set out for yet, but what I love most about martial arts is that it's a never ending quest for improvement and self-betterment. There's always something more to strive for. I look forward to sharing this passion and all of the positive benefits of martial arts with others!
What We Teach
Beyond the black belt...
Our primary system is Tang Soo Do, with elements of Judo and Muay Thai as students become more advanced. Impressive powerful kicks, weapons, sparring and self-defense techniques are all included.
Along with the physical skills of martial arts we focus heavily on building the confidence of our students along with character. These values are critical to help our students be proactive in their lives, make good choices and benefit their communities. Our Seven Spears (or seven tenets) are virtue, knowledge, self-control, perseverance, compassion, humility and love.
